Edward Hlavka
Edward Hlavka, a native of South Dakota, developed an early
passion and natural ability for sculpture. After attending
the College of Art and Design in Minneapolis, he continued to
hone his skills with workshops, classes and apprenticeships and
his own inexhaustible desire.
Hlavka's work has been exhibited at prestigious national shows
including the National Sculpture Society's Masquerade exhibition
at the Tower of Americas in New York City and Cheyenne's Old
West Museum Show, where he received the Gallery Choice Award and
a first place sculpture award.
His works can be found in the galleries in private collections
across the nation. He is a member of the Allied Artists of
America and a professional member of the National Sculpture
Society.
